Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • This position reports to the Head of HR. The HR Manager is tasked with managing HR processes, budgets and compensation matters, handling employee relations and engagement, ensuring compliance with regulations, assessing staffing needs and recruitment, as well as developing training & development programmes.
  • Manage up to 3 HR colleagues on the full spectrum of daily HR operations including but not limited to payroll, recruitment, compensation & benefits, employee relations, grievance handling, staff engagement and advisory services on HR policies and procedures.
  • Partner and support the functional heads to manage, in a proactive and consultative approach, a full spectrum of HR functions such as manpower planning, performance management, compensation, benefits, development etc.
  • Ensure HR policies, procedures, internal workflows, processes and HR information on SharePoint are updated and relevant to business needs.
  • Assist to provide guidance to stakeholders in people and performance management.
  • Execute annual promotion, annual increment and performance appraisal exercise to ensure rewards are distributed fairly to attract and retains talents.
  • Responsible for data integration in systems and ensure appropriate and relevant audit controls are in place.
  • Assist in external audit checks and yearly budgeting exercise.

 

Position Requirements

  • Degree in Business or HR related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of HR Generalist and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory role or similar capacity. 
  • Knowledge of Times Software is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local regulations and labour laws, e.g. Employment Act, Retirement and Re-employment Act, CPF Act, PDPA Act, etc.
  • Proven track record of HR business partnering with and delivering value to high performing and highly demanding business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective interpersonal relationships at all levels.
  • Strong analytical thinking and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and hands-on experience in HRM systems.
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure and when faced with competing priorities.
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, proactive, positive working and learning attitude with great initiative and high integrity.

Executive/ Senior Executive, IT (Contract)

Responsibilities

 

1.      Provide End-User Support

  • Provide IT support to AHL employees, software application troubleshooting, installation and configuration of workstation and other IT equipment such as desktop computers, printers, scanners or handheld devices etc.
  • Track and follow through all IT issues and requests raised by end-users.
  • Conduct system, application, IT inventory documentation and user training when needed.
  • Assist AHL employees face-to-face, via phone or remote assistance tools.
  • Resolve issues that occur outside of normal business hours when needed.

 

2.      Maintain and Upgrade Network, Systems and Equipment

  • Ensure that current systems are updated and running smoothly at all times.
  • Responsible in carrying out periodic maintenance and perform installation, upgrading, migrations and troubleshooting on systems.
  • Assist Manager IT in tasks pertaining to the upgrade or purchase of new hardware, software or equipment. This includes, but not limited to liaising and following up effectively with AHL employees and vendors on hardware, software or equipment matters. 
  • Provide IT hardware /software housekeeping and control procedures, including physical and data security. Ensure IT inventory is properly stored, and accounted for.
  • Assist in managing IT procurement process, ensuring that procured products, applications or services meets Company’s requirements, delivered on time and are within budget.

 

3.      Administer Data and Cyber Security

  • Manage the safety and integrity of organisational data, including client information and internal information. This includes maintaining, backing up and securing servers, databases, IT infrastructure and restoring of files as needed.
  • Maintain network, systems and data security, especially in the area of Cybersecurity.

 

Requirements

 

  1. Educational qualifications
  • Minimum Diploma in Computer Science/ Information Technology, or equivalent professional qualification.

 

  1. Experience
  • The incumbent must be an IT professional who has experience in managing daily end-to-end IT support to corporate end-users
  • Experience in maintaining corporate assets and documentation according to corporate IT guidelines and policies.
  • At least 3 – 5 years of experience in in-house IT administration and end-user support.
  • Experience in the Public Sector is an advantage.

 

  1. Specific skills required
  • Client-oriented, excellent interpersonal skill and able to take pressure in an event oriented and multiple business units environment
  • Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Good understanding in troubleshooting common IT issues.
  • Possess analytical, writing, communication and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English. 

Note: This is a 2-year contract position.

You will work closely with Manager, IT to support day-to-day IT operations, as well as the corporate end users on all their IT needs. You will be involved in promoting digitalization initiatives and culture for a more effective and productive working environment. You will support IT Manager in the development and implementation of new corporate IT solutions as part of the continuous digitalization initiatives.
