Sharul Channa is formally trained in theatre from Lasalle College of the Arts, and has been a full time stand-up comedian for the last 13 years. She has performed to packed, houses all over Asia and Australia.

Over the past few years, Channa has used comedy to shed light on important, and sometimes neglected social issues in Singapore. She has created and starred in many works like "Crazy Poor Sita" and "Am I Old?", earning her critical acclaim from the likes of The Straight Times.

Most recently, Channa fixed her comic muscle by returning as one of the Queens in a re-run of live comedy stand-up show, Kings and Queens of Comedy Asia.
