A holiday camp specially devised by DesignTinkers x RAW Moves, to introduce children to understand body awareness and spatial concepts through Creative Movement in an interdisciplinary approach.
The workshop aims to empower children to express themselves freely through movements and and nurture their confidence to articulate ideas effectively through story-telling and designed creations. Children will be encouraged to interpret with open-ended materials to design and build their ideas from 2D to 3D prototypes.
Immersed in an imaginary Botanical Space, children will learn how to respond and explore movement motifs inspired by the properties and phenomena of plant life. They will learn the techne to translate their movements creatively into tangible wearable prototypes.
The camp is held in our spacious and conducive classroom and dance studio for kids to create and explore freely under guidance. Children will share their works at the end of the camp and parents are welcome to attend.
Suitable for 7 – 9/ 10 – 12 year old
Parents and guardians may arrive at 3:45pm to attend the showing by the children.
