Over a series of talks and panels spanning two days, the Singapore Translation Symposium 2023 will explore the theme "Translation is Creative." This event will showcase the often-overlooked creativity and imagination of the translator when rendering a text into a different cultural sensibility than its original, while also illuminating the various processes and collaborations that occur during the translation of a work, including its subsequent publication.
