The Tamil Poetry Recital Competition will see 10 youths presenting their recitals of local poetry by pioneer Singaporean poets. It aims to promote discourse about local Tamil literature and encourage students to consume as well as create in this space. There will be a forum held at the end of the competition that will allow meaningful conversations about the state of local literature and the vision of youths.
