Two roving characters, taking their funny banter around The Arts House. They argue over millennial-speak, how to order kopi at the coffeeshop, their children’s pursuit of passion, misdirected phone calls and even their job review.
Be tickled by their crosstalk (相聲) wordplay in this series of pop-up skits inspired by Singapore writer Felix Cheong’s popular humour stories, Singapore Siu Dai. Cross-Talk Siu Dai will let you see the funny side of being Singaporean.
Directed by well-known theatre practitioner Jeffrey Tan. Performed by Jolene Wong and Oniatta Effendi.
