Change, though the only constant in life, has never been a smooth process throughout history. This was what Pak Suleh and Mak Timun faced when they were forced to relocate from their beloved island of Pulau Sebidang to a modern HDB estate. Join Kelana Pantun Temasek as they explore the lives, concerns and challenges faced by these villagers. Weaving pantun, a Malay poetic form, into this adaptation of Suratman Markasan’s novel Penghulu Yang Hilang Segala-galanya, this performance will speak to the human spirit of resilience in the face of change.
