Bengkel Explorasi Seni: Explorasi Tarian Melayu, Pantun, Silat & Puisi dan Kompang & Gendang.

In conjunction with AKAR 2023: Arts Learning Festival, AKAR Symposium and Conference will be held on 2nd September at The Arts House. Through the theme, Tak Kenal Maka Tak Cinta, join the panellists Djohan Abdul Rahman, Hidayah Amin, Marina Yusoff, and Ridzuan Zalani as they discuss and engage participants on the following topics:

Topic 1: Nurturing Identity and Language Empowerment
Topic 2: Cultural Dance & Rhythm: Embracing the Global Wave

For the 2nd segment of the conference, participants will be invited to try out different Malay art forms through the concurrent arts exploration workshops. Participants can look forward to discovering more about the Malay dance, Pantun, Silat, Puisi and the Malay drums in these workshops.
